ecoSuites art Residency Archive
Each year ecoSuites hosts a group of international artists to develop their work in the ambience of the calm seascape of Trisitnika Beach. Artists are asked to create artworks with environmental awareness and recycled or repurposed materials. All artworks are produced on site during the art residency and exhibited in various spots within the hotel resort. ecoSuites Art Residency is an artist residency program hosted by 'Despotiko O.E.' located in Sithonia, Greece. Founded in 2020, this program invites emerging artists of exceptional talent to reside at the hotel and contribute to the cultural vibrancy of the region. This is an non-profitable and non-commercial program aiming to share the fun of art making and direct the participant’s creativity towards a conscious art production. Curated by Alex A. Tsolakis, the designer of ecoSuites and creative director of Blank Slate Art Journal.
